TSIA2 Assessment
Testing
TSIA2, Texas Success Initiative (Assessment), is a computerized test that students take to establish if they are ready for on-level college coursework. Most students need this assessment to start Dual Credit college coursework or to start coursework their first semester of traditional college. Pilot Point High School is a TSIA2 Testing Center and will help students take their TSIA2 as they apply for Dual Credit classes or as they prepare to enter the traditional college setting. Students who are working on certificates, entering trade schools, or who are attending college out of state will often not need this assessment so the student should be consulting with the counselor to determine if the student needs to take this assessment or not.
