Student Athletic Training Program
Student Athletic Training Program
Student Athletic Training Program Information:
The Student Athletic Training Program is an enrichment program that serves and supports the student athletes and coaches within the Pilot Point High School Athletic Department.
Students will provide support services during 8th period athletics, after school practices, games, and events; this may include weekdays, Saturdays, and holidays. Student athletic trainers function as a first aid provider for our student athletes and may receive specialty training and certification in Adult/Child CPR/AED and First Aid. In addition, they learn taping and wrapping techniques that can be applied to athletes that sustain an injury. Basic knowledge for rehabilitation of injuries will be covered in the Athletic Training Room, time permitting.
Under this program, student athletic trainers can earn a Letterman jacket under the same standards as our student athletes.
If a student is interested in a medical career, this program is suggested for them. There will be plenty of learning moments, and it looks great on a resume!
Application Process:
Current High School students and rising 8th graders are eligible to apply.
Applications can be returned via the instructions on the application.
