Certification of Enrollment (VOE) Information - Texas DMV

Students who are applying for a learner's permit or driver's license through the department of motor vehicles (DMV) are required to present a Certification of Enrollment, officially known as the Verification of Enrolment (VOE) form. 

To qualify for this certification, student must be currently enrolled and attending Pilot Point HS and must be in good attendance standing as defined by the Texas Education Agency (90%). The VOE form serves as official proof of enrollment and must be signed by a school administrator before being submitted to the DMV. 

If a student is below 90% attendance at the time of the request. the VOE will not be issued. 

VOE forms are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance during the regular school year. Forms issued during the summer break are valid until the first day of the following school year. 

Students must request a VOE online. 

Please allow sufficient processing time before your scheduled DMV appointment. (2-3 School days)
