Dear Bearcat Families,

What a great week to be a Bearcat!

As we continue settling into the school year, I am incredibly proud of the energy our students and staff are bringing to PPHS. Our classrooms are busy, our teams and organizations are working hard, and you can feel the excitement building across campus.

Our theme this year is Friday Nights Start on Monday — Preparation Creates Performance, and we are already seeing what that looks like in action. The moments we celebrate on Friday nights, at competitions, on stage, and in the classroom begin with the work our students and staff put in every single day.

Thank you, families, for your continued partnership and support. We have an exciting week ahead!

The Kick Cats Are BACK!

What a night!

This week, our PPHS community came together for our End of Summer Showcase, and our students gave us an incredible preview of what we can expect under the Friday night lights this season!

Our Bearcat Band, Cheerleaders, and Drill Team took the field and showcased the halftime performances they have been working on throughout the summer.

And there was one moment that made this year's showcase extra special…

THE KICK CATS ARE BACK! 🧡🖤

We are so excited to welcome back this PPHS tradition!

Our Kick Cats took the field and gave our community its first look at what they have been preparing. Seeing them perform alongside our Band and Cheer program made for a special night and an exciting beginning to the season.

We are incredibly proud of all of our students and sponsors who dedicated so many hours this summer to prepare.

Preparation Creates Performance

Our theme isn't just about athletics.

Every day, our teachers and students are putting preparation into practice in our classrooms.

Students are learning new content, collaborating, solving problems, developing skills, and beginning the work that will lead to success throughout the year.

Parents, one of the best ways you can support us is by helping your student build strong habits early:
  • Attend school every day.
  • Arrive to class on time and ready to learn.
  • Complete assignments and stay caught up.
  • Ask for help when needed.
  • Get involved in something at PPHS.

The habits we establish now will make a difference later.
